There’s nothing wrong with you.
Read this again, as often as you need to, so that your well engrained belief cracks at least a little: There. Is. Nothing. Wrong. With. You.
If you are at a point in life where you are ready to give up; where your life doesn’t make sense anymore; where you think whether you are here or not doesn’t matter; where you are overwhelmed by the sheer grandiosity of what is “wrong” with the world; where you do not want to continue as is or was; in short: If you have nothing to lose.
That is when you jump.
Not off a cliff or in front of a train, no.
That is when you jump out of modern culture, out of everything you have known so far, and into the unknown.
This state is a gift because if you have come thus far and have nothing to lose, why still bother looking good? And when you’re ready to no longer operate in your life in reference to looking good so that others approve of you, that is when you are free and entirely new ways of living become accessible to you.
If you still think you aren’t good enough to fit in, I have good news: You are not made to fit in in the first place.
Our planet is in desperate need of people who are willing to not fit in any longer: People who stop pretending that they do; People who have nothing to lose, such as yourself, and who are willing to create something new — the kind of things that people say that can’t be done; the impossible things. The things you may be called crazy for.
If you are here, right now, remotely resonating with what I just wrote, you are here to co-create something different.
We are at a point in time where continuing as we have as a species is suicidal. We need radical shifts to sustain this miraculous adventure of life on this planet.
It starts with you. Are you willing to grow up enough so that you are able to be sustainable within and without? Are you willing to find out how it goes to initiate into a free and natural adult, an archetypal Adult? Are you willing to feel your wild rage and your huge fear and your deepest sadness and your ecstatic joy? Are you willing to learn how it goes to radically rely on your own resources and also on those resources that are beyond your personal ones? Are you willing to intimately relate with yourself and others at the risk of looking “bad”, unskilled or unprofessional?
You cannot know how it goes. That is how it goes. You shift your identity into that of an experimenter, an edgeworker, a next culture researcher, a next culture engineer or scout, and you jump right in without knowing.
Welcome to your life.
